The meeting focuses on a report compiled by the five-member Arab League ministerial committee on the situation in Syria and the outcomes of recent relevant meetings in Damascus and Doha.

The report evaluates the situation in Syria and suggests solutions to bring back security and stability to this Arab country.

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Al-Muallem is not attending the meeting, but Syria’s permanent delegate Yussif Ahmad is leading his country’s delegation taking part in the gathering.
