Police Detain Sixty People During Lokomotiv-Athletic Soccer Match

Law enforcement officers detained 60 people during a football match between Russia’s Lokomotiv Moscow and Spain’s Athletic Bilbao on Thursday, police reported.
Felipe Caicedo’s half-volley gave Lokomotiv Moscow a 2-1 comeback victory over Athletic Bilbao in the first leg of their Europa League tie at the Russian capital’s Luzhniki stadium on Thursday.
Over 1,200 police officers were deployed to ensure public order during the match attended by 11,250 viewers, 250 of them Athletic fans, according to police.
