Yemen: Over 60 Killed In Clashes With Insurgents

At least 61 people have been killed in an attack by Al-Qaeda-linked Ansar Al-Sharia group on a military base in Yemen, Associated Press reports.

The insurgents managed to seize military hardware and weapons and captured at least 70 troops.

The government says that the attack is to destabilize the situation after an early election of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi who sworn in on February 27.
