Deutsche Telekom leader in cloud computing in Germany

The Experton Group rates Deutsche Telekom’s cloud computing services as a market leader in Germany. “Cloud Vendor Benchmark 2010,” a first-time study by the international analyst firm, considers Deutsche Telekom to be a leader for small and medium-sized enterprises. T-Systems, the Group’s subsidiary, was listed as a leader for corporate customers and for solutions using networks with restricted access (private cloud) and networks with partially-restricted access (hybrid cloud).

In its study, Experton underscored Deutsche Telekom’s locational advantage in Germany in particular. According to the study, Deutsche Telekom can offer cloud computing across Germany on the basis of their high-security data centres. In addition, it is the only company to offer its own network and guarantee delivery quality.
