Libya: Rebels Detain One More Of Gaddafi’s Sons

Libyan rebels said on Monday evening that they had captured another of Muammar Gaddafi’s sons.

Saadi Gaddafi was taken after two of his older brothers were detained earlier in the day, the head of the National Transitional Council was quoted as saying by the al-Arabiya TV station.

A former professional football player in Italy, Saadi headed the Libyan Football Federation.

Rebels have taken control of much of the Libyan capital, Tripoli. Colonel Gaddafi’s whereabouts are unknown, although he is not thought to have fled the country.
